Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses in December 2016

In December 2016 compared to December 2015, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses decreased (by 13.7% and the net decreased weight by 1.9%). The total number of slaughtered sheep decreased (by 39.3% and net weight decreased by 44.5%), pigs decreased (by 39.4% and net weight of 38.7%) compared to the same period in 2015.
 
In comparison with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered cattle decreased by 16.7% (net weight decreased by 22.3%). As far as sheep’s, the total number of slaughtered animals is less by 37.7% (net weight less by 41.5%), total number of pigs is bigger by 194.5% (a net weight also bigger by 137.9%).
 
Compared to the monthly average in 2015 with December 2016, number of slaughtered cattle is less in total (by 8.8% a net weight bigger by 1%), sheep total less (by 41.2% and net weight of 42%) and pigs bigger (by 103.3% and net weight less of 10.5%).
 

The number of slaughtered poultry decreased by 1.9%, a net weight decreased by 0.6% compared with the same month last year. Compared with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered poultry is increased by 59.1%, a net weight increased by 48.3%, while compared to the actual monthly average in 2015, the number of slaughtered poultry increased by (4.5%, the net weight increased of 3.9%).
