In Montenegro, in September 2017 in collective accommodation (hotels, camping sites, tourist resorts, vacation facilities, boarding houses, motels, etc.) tourists realised 14.9% more arrivals than in September 2016.

The number of realised overnight stays is 5.7% higher than in September 2016. Overnight stays of foreign tourists represent 91.7% while the domestic tourists represent 8.3% of all overnight stays in collective accommodation in September 2017.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in September 2017, the most of them were realised by tourists from Russia (21.9%), Serbia (10.3%), France (7.9%), Poland (5.9%), Germany (5.7%), United Kingdom (5.1%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (3.5%), Czech Republic (2.9%). Tourists from other countries realised 36.8% overnight stays.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (90.0%), capital (4.9%), mountain resorts (2.6%) and in other tourist resorts (2.5%).
