Entrance of raw milk and obtained milk products in dairies
The total quantity of purchased cows’ milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro, in the first quarter of 2025 is 6 567 563 kg, and shows a decrease of 6.2% compared to the same quarter of 2024.
An average milk fat content in the first quarter of 2025, compared to the first quarter of 2024, records a decrease of 2.6%, while the protein content is at the level of the previous year.
In the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same quarter of 2024, an increase in the production of traditional butter (for 2.1%) and other yellow products (for 57.6%), while a decrease was recorded in the production of drinking milk (for 19.9%), cream (for 8.3%), fermented products (for 6.7%) and cheese (for 0.3%).
