At the sector level the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in August 2019 compared to July 2019 increased in the following sectors: Electrity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (5.2%), Transportation and storage (4.3%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (3.1%), Accommodation and food service activities (3.0%), Mining and quarrying (2.7%), Administrative and support service activities (2.6%), Water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (2.1%), Wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motor recycles (1.8%), Financial and insurance activities (1.7%), Information and communications (1.4%), Manufacturing (1.3%), Public administration and defence, compulsory social security (0.5%), Construction (0.4%), Real estate activities (0.1%), while there were a decrease in the following sectors: Other service activities (1.5%), Profesional, scientific and tehnical activities (1.1%), Human health and social work activities (0.4%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (0.3%) and Education (0.2%).
