In the fourth quarter of 2021 there was an increase in the slaughter of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro. Number of slaughtered cattle is 9 820 or 17.8% more than in the fourth quarter of 2020. The net weight of slaughtered cattle in the fourth quarter of 2021 increased by 20.5%.

The total number of slaughtered sheep in the fourth quarter of 2021 increased by 11.6% (net weight increased by 7.9%). The total number of slaughtered pigs decreased by 6.2%, compared to the same quarter of 2020, while the total number of slaughtered poultry decreased both in number and net weight.
