Today, the European statistical community celebrates the official statistics as a source of independent, objective, and reliable data necessary for strengthening organizations, business, and citizens in their decision making.

On this occasion, Statistical Office is joining the celebration of this date and is congratulating the European Statistics Day, to statisticians and all users of statistical data.

The director of Statistical Office, Mr. Miroslav Pejovic, points out that the aim of celebration of this day is to point to the importance of official statistics and its role in the modern society, indicating that the use of statistical data is for the benefit of every society.
