Value of purchase and sale of agricultural, forestry and fishery products by business entities and agricultural cooperatives with two employees and over, was 13.0 million EUR in the fourth quarter of 2023, out of which, value of sale from the own production of business entities was 4.8 million EUR or 36.9%, while value of purchase from individual agricultural producers was 8.2 million EUR or 63.1%.

Value of purchase and selling of agricultural, forestry and fishery products by business entities and agricultural cooperatives with two employees and over, in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared with the same quarter of 2022, records an increase of 16.0%. Value of sale from the own production of business entities increased by 36.4% and value of purchase of agriculture products from individual producers increased by 6.7%.

In the structure of value of purchase and selling of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the fourth quarter of 2023, there is a share of: livestock by types and categories 22.5%; hens’ eggs 20.8%; raw cow milk 20.3%; vegetables 12.0%; other products 10.7%; fresh fish 6.6%; fresh fruit 5.3%; processed fruit and grapes 0.9%; industrial crops 0.7% and grapes 0.2%.
