In the second quarter of 2024 there was an decreased in the slaughter of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro. Number of slaughtered cattle is 7 596 or 14.5 % less than in the second quarter of 2023. The net weight of slaughtered cattle in the second quarter of 2023 decreased by 14.9 %.
The total number of slaughtered sheep in the second quarter of 2024 decreased by 5.4 % compared to the second quarter 2023. The net weight of slaughtered sheep in the second quarter of 2024 decreased by 8.2 %.The total number of slaughtered poultry increased by 21.1 %.
