Entrance of raw milk and obtained milk products in dairies

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairy farmers in the territory of Montenegro, in the second quarter of 2024 is 7 820 056 kg and shows an increase of 5.5% compared to the same quarter of 2023.
The average milk fat content in the second quarter of 2024, compared to the second quarter of 2023, recorded a increase of 3.3%, while the average protein content recorded an increase of 4.9%.
In the second quarter of 2024, compared to the same quarter of 2023, an increase in the production of traditional butter (by 17.6%), cheese (by 16.9%), fermented milk products (by 8.0%), while a decline was recorded in the production of drinking milk (by 18.6%), other yellow-fat products (by 15.5%) and cream (by 9.7%).
