In academic year 2024/2025, at the higher education institutions in Montenegro, there were 4 140 students enrolled at postgraduate studies and doctoral studies.
There were 3 941 students enrolled at postgraduate studies, as follows: 745 at specialist studies, 3 196 at master studies. Among total number of students share of females is 62.5%, and share of males is 37.5%.
Number of students enrolled at specialist studies increased in comparison with previous academic year is 72.5%. In specialist studies, 58.3% are female, and 41.7% are male.
There are 3 196 students enrolled at master studies which is 1.8% more less than in previous academic year 2023/2024. Of the total number of students enrolled in master studies, 82.4% were in public higher education institutions, while 17.6% were in private higher education institutions. In master's studies 63.5% were females while 36.5% were males.
