Survey on foreign vessels on cruise is conducted on the basis of Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro "Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12 from 30 March 2012".

Purpose of survey
The purpose of survey on foreign vessels on cruise is to use the data collected in the analysis of activities in tourism as an element for creating tourism policy in Montenegro.
The survey collects the data on number of cruise realised in the internal sea waters of Montenegro, by flag of foreign vessels, as well as number of passengers on foreign vessels during these cruises.
Coverage of survey
Statistics of foreign vessels on cruise cover harbour master office Kotor, i.e. branch office Kotor that issues approval documents for these vessels when entering internal sea waters of Montenegro.
Data sources
The data source is harbour master office Kotor.
Obligation to protect individual data
Results obtained through survey are published in the aggregated form not allowing the access to individual data on foreign vessels, as well as on passengers on these vessels.
