Prices of goods and services for personal consumption, measured by consumer price index, in April 2024, as compared to March 2024, increased by 0.1% on average. Consumer prices in April 2024, as compared to April 2023, increased by 5.4% on average. This was influenced mostly by increase in prices of: garments; shoes and other footwear; fruit; vegetables; passenger transport by air; fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment; accommodation services; coffee, tea and cocoa. Consumer prices in period January-April 2024 compared to the same period of previous year, were higher for 4.9% in average.
