This release presents the data on reported, accused and convicted adult persons – perpetrators of crime.
In 2013 there were 4 613 reported known perpetrators of crime, showing a decrease of 17.8% compared to 2012. The share of women is 12.5%. The number of unknown perpetrators of crime is 1 584, i.e. 25.6%.
Number of accused persons compared to the previous year decreased for 9.7%, and number of convicted persons decreased 8%. The share of accused adult women is 9.9%. and convicted adult women, 9.1%.
In most frequent crimes against property, in 2013, share of reported is 24.6%, share of accused is 24.5%, and share of convicted persons is 24.7%.
