This release presents the data on reported, accused and convicted adult persons – perpetrators of crime.

In 2014 there were 5 059 reported known perpetrators of crime, showing a increase of 9.7% compared to 2013. The share of women is 12.6%. The number of unknown perpetrators of crime is 2 098, i.e. 29.3%.

Number of accused persons compared to the previous year decreased for 7.3%, and number of convicted persons decreased 5.7%. The share of accused adult women is 9.9% and convicted adult women, 9.5%.

In most frequent crimes against property, in 2014, share of reported is 23%, share of accused is 21.9%, and share of convicted persons is 21.9%.
