Total number of enrolled students in basic studies, in winter semester of academic year 2014/2015 was 24 184, which is for 3.2% more, comparing to last year's winter semester. The share of female students is 52.9%.

From total number of enrolled students, 75.7% was enrolled in Public Higher Education Institutions, and 24.3% in Private Higher Education Institutions. Number of students enrolled in Public Higher Education Institutions, remained on last year's level, while in Private Higher Education Institutions, that number is higher for 14%.

During the academic year 2014/2015 There were 8 026 students enrolled in the first year of studies, which is 33,2% of the total (students that are enrolled for the second time, third time or more are included in this number).
