In October 2015 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 1 763, ewes 8 318, pigs 488 and poultry 24 821.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 88% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
