At the sector level the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in August 2017 compared to July 2017 increased in the following sectors: Accommodation and food service activities (9.2%), Other service activities (6.3%), Information and communication (4.7%), Mining and quarrying (4.1%), Profesional, scientific and tehnical activities (4.0%), Construction (3.5%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (2.6%), Administrative and support service activities (1.7%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (1.6%), Real estate activities (1.6%), Education (1.2%), Wholesale and retail trade (0.9%), Public administration and defence, compulsory social security (0.7%), while there was a decrease in the following sectors: Manufacturing (3.0%), Electrity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (1.3%), Water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (1.3%), Human health and social work activities (1.1%) and Financial and insurance activities (0.7%).
