This release presents the data on passenger and goods transport by road and air, passenger transport by sea, as well as data on postal and telecommunication services.
Number of passengers used transport in July 2011 compared with the same period of previous year decreased in road transport 14.9%, by air 11.2%, while an increase is noticed in air transport 8.1%, and city transport 17.6%.
Transport of goods in July 2011 compared with the same period of previous year decreased, rail transport 19.8%, air transport 75.4%, road transport 29.5%, as well as transport by sea 33.3%.
The port traffic in July 2011 compared with the same period of previous year decreased 14.7%.
Number of minutes spent in the fixed telecommunications in July 2011 compared with the same period of previous year increased for 31.6%, as well as number of minutes spent in the mobile telecommunication for 40.2%.
