In Montenegro, in July 2011, tourists realised 349 801 arrivals which is 9.2% more than in July 2010, while they made 2 250 493 overnight stays which is 7.4% more than in July 2010. Overnight stays of domestic tourists represent 7%, while the foreign tourists represent 93% of all overnight stays in July 2011. In the first seven months of this year, tourists realized 647 454 arrivals, which is 8.8% more compared to the same period last year, and 3 819 309 overnight stays which is 7% more compared to the same period last year. Number of overnight stays of domestic tourists decreased 18.2%, while the number of overnight stays of foreign tourists increased 10.9%.
Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists the most of them were realised by tourists from Serbia (26.3%), Russia (18.6%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (10.2%), Kosovo (4.9%), Slovenia (3.6%), Turkey (3.1%), Czech Republic (2.6%), and other countries.
Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (98.4%), in mountain resorts (0.8%), in capital city (0.5%), than in other tourist resorts and other resorts.
