In the fourth quarter of 2022 there was an decreased in the slaughter of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro. Number of slaughtered cattle is 9 731 or 0.9 % less than in the fourth quarter of 2021. The net weight of slaughtered cattle in the fourth quarter of 2022 decreased by 0.4%.

The total number of slaughtered sheep in the fourth quarter of 2022 increased by 0.8% compared to the fourth quarter 2021. The net weight of slaughtered sheep in the fourth quarter of 2022 increased by 20.1%. The total number of slaughtered pigs decreased compared to the same quarter of 2021, and the total number of slaughtered poultry is increased.
