In academic year 2022/2023, at the higher education institutions in Montenegro, there were 4 294 students enrolled at postgraduate studies and doctoral studies.

There were 4 166 students enrolled at postgraduate studies, as follows: 1 158 at specialist studies, 3 008 at master studies. Among total number of students share of females is 61.2% and share of males is 38.8%.

Number of students enrolled at specialist studies decreased in comparison with previous academic year is 28.2%. Of the total number of students enrolled in specialist studies, 727 or 62.8% were in public higher education institutions, while 431 or 37.2% were enrolled in private higher education institutions.
