Entrance of row cow's milk and obtained products into the dairies
The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairy farmers in the territory of Montenegro, in the third quarter of 2024 is 7 295 168 kg, and shows an increase of 1.3%, compared to the same quarter of 2023.
The average milk fat content in the third quarter of 2024, compared to the third quarter of 2023, recorded a increase of 6.8%, while the average protein content recorded an increase of 4.9%.
In the third quarter of 2024, compared to the same quarter of 2023, an increase in the production of traditional butter (by 19.8%), cheese (by 9.6%), while a decline was recorded in the production of drinking milk (by 16.8%), cream (by 12.9%) other yellow-fat products (by 8.9%), and fermented milk products (by 1.9%).
