Transport of passengers in the fourth quarter 2025 compared to the same quarter of the previous year records in: railway transport decrease by 15.2%, road transport increase by 2.0%, local road transport decrease by 1.6%, and passengers in airports increase by 3.8%.
Transport of goods in the fourth quarter 2025 compared to the same quarter of the previous year records in: railway transport increase for 12.2%, road transport increase for 2.3%, total traffic of goods in ports increase for 1.6%, and goods in airports decrease for 26.2%.
Number of transhipped tonnes in ports in the fourth quarter 2025 compared to the same quarter of the previous year increase by 0.5%, and handled tonnes decrease by 6.8%.
Total number of traffic accidents1 in the fourth quarter 2025 was 1 592 which is 7.1% less than in the same quarter of the previous year. Number of casualties2 in the fourth quarter 2025 was 762 (out of which there are 739 injured persons), which is 1.9% an increase of in the same quarter of the previous year.
Number of registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the fourth quarter 2025 is 86 929, which is an increase of 10.3% in comparison with the same quarter of the previous year. Number of the first time registered road motor vehicles and trailers3 in the fourth quarter 2025 is 8 516, which is an increase of 4.2% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
