The total number of social protection beneficiaries in Montenegro 2011 was 51 767, of which 46% of minors, and 54% of adult beneficiaries of social protection.
In 2011, the number of minor beneficiaries of social protection was 23 639 representing a decrease of 6% in comparison with 2010. The gender structure of minor beneficiaries of social protection is the following: there are 49% of female persons, and 51% of male persons.
The number of adult beneficiaries of social protection was 28 128, i.e. there was a decrease of 0.7% in comparison with 2010.
The highest number of minor beneficiaries of social protection in Montenegro, i.e. 58% is possessed by Centre for Social Work Podgorica (for municipalities: Podgorica, Cetinje, Danilovgrad, and Kolasin), then 13% possessed by Centre for Social Work Niksic (for municipalities: Niksic, Pluzine, and Savnik).
Of the total adult beneficiaries of social protection, there are 34% possessed by Centre for Social Work Podgorica, and 22% by Centre for Social Work Rozaje.
