Monthly inflation measured by Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices increased +0.2% in August. This was influenced mostly by the increase in prices of fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment; electricity; services in restaurants cafés and the like. Annual inflation in August was +5.0%, and it is lower than in July, when it was +5.5%.
