ICT usage in enterprises

Survey Use of information and communication technologies in enterprises is conducted on the basis of the Law on official statistics and official statistical system ("Official Gazette of Montenegro", No. 18/12 of 30. 03. 2012, 47/19 of 12. 08. 2019).

METHODOLOGICAL BASIS

Purpose of survey

Use of information and communication technologies statistics are based on the results of survey on the use of information and communication technologies in enterprises, which monitor and analyse some of the characteristics of enterprises, such as:

- ICT systems and their use in enterprises,

- use of the Internet and other electronic networks by enterprises,

- e-commerce,

- e-business and organizational aspects,

- the use of ICT by information and services exchanges with public administration (e-government),

- ICT skills in enterprises and the need for ICT skills,

- barriers to the use of ICT, the Internet and others electronic networks, e-commerce and e-business processes,

- ICT security, security and protection, etc.


Data sources and data collection in enterprises

The survey is conducted on a stratified sample, by telephone. In accordance with the Eurostat methodology, the sample covers enterprises with 10 or more workers in specific sectors, according to the NACE Rev 2 classification: administrative and support service activities; construction; information and communication; repair of computers and computer equipment; real estate business; manufacturing industry; supply of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning, water, wastewater management, control of waste disposal processes and similar activities; professional, scientific and technical activities; transport and storage; wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; accommodation and catering services.
