Director of Statistical Office of Montenegro, Mr. Miroslav Pejovic participated in the 54th session of United Nations Statistical Commission in New York, upon the invitation of Secretary-General.
The presence to the UN Statistical Commission session, held once in a year and gathering directors of all statistical institutions worldwide, is of significant importance for Statistical Office, having in mind that there was a discussion on current activities, future plan and priorities in official statistics.
During his stay, the director of Statistical Office visited the Permanent Mission of Montenegro to the UN and the General Consulate of Montenegro in New York. On this occasion, he met with Ambassador, Chargé d'affaires a.i. Vladimir Vucinic, and Consul, Mr. Zoran Jankovic. They discussed on possibilities of future cooperation with the Statistical Office, and support in implementing a number of started innovative activities, as well as support of further modernization of official statistics of Montenegro.
