Legal basis for conducting this statistical survey is Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12).
METHODOLOGICAL BASIS
Purpose of survey
The purpose of survey on road passenger and goods transport is to obtain the data on number and capacity of transport means and their use, transport of passengers and goods, on performed total passenger kilometre and tonne-kilometre, etc. In the same time, the collected data serve for monitoring the trends in road transport.
Coverage of survey
Survey on road passenger and goods transport covers companies classified (according to Activity Classification) into the passenger transport activity and goods transport activity, sector H (Transport and storage), Area 49.
Data sources
Data source on passenger and goods transport are companies.
Obligation to protect individual data
Individual data on the natural or legal persons are confidential and constitutes an official secret in accordance with Article 56 of the Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12).
