Legal basis for conducting these statistical surveys is Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12).
METHODOLOGICAL BASES
Purpose of survey
The purpose of survey on social welfare institutions for care of children and youth is to provide the data on children in social welfare institutions by the most important characteristics, such as number of institutions and number of children by gender.
The purpose of survey on institutions for temporary or permanent accommodation, food, care and health care of adults and aged persons is to provide, and to disseminate the data on number of institutions, number and gender of beneficiaries.
Data sources and coverage
The data on social welfare institutions are collected by statistical reports received from all social welfare institutions for children and youth, adult and aged persons. These data are a result of regular statistical surveys conducted with the biannual periodicity.
Obligation to protect individual data
The data obtained from reporting units are only used for statistical purposes, and they are published at the aggregated level
