Entrance of row cows milk and obtained products into the dairies

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairy farmers in the territory of Montenegro, in the fourth quarter of 2024 is 6 811 028 kg, and shows an increase of 1.5%, compared to the same quarter of 2023.

The average milk fat content in the fourth quarter of 2024, compared to the fourth quarter of 2023, recorded a decline of 8.3%, while the average protein content recorded an increase of 1.0%.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, compared to the same quarter of 2023, an increase was recorded in the production of traditional butter (by 12.9%), cheese (by 5.3%), cream (by 0.5%) and other yellow-fat products (by 88.9%) while a decline was recorded in the production of drinking milk (by 28.4%) and fermented milk products (by 8.2%).
