In Montenegro, in August 2013 tourists realised 500 779 arrivals which is 5.2% more than in August 2012. The number of realised overnight stays is 3 765 533, which is 4.3% more than in August 2012. Overnight stays of domestic tourists represent 11.2% while the foreign tourists represent 88.8% of all overnight stays in August 2013.

Compared to August 2012, in collective accommodation establishments,1) number of tourist arrivals increased by 3.9%, while the number of overnight stays increased by 5.5%. In individual accommodation establishments 2) number of arrivals increased by 5.8%, while the number of overnight stays increased by 4.0%.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in August 2013, the most of them were realised by tourists from Serbia (29.0%), Russia (24.7%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (8.3%), Ukraine (4.6%), Kosovo (4.1%), Macedonia (3.2%), Poland (2.6%). Tourists from other countries realised 23.5% overnight stays.
