In Montenegro, in September 2013 tourists realised 223 727 arrivals which is 3.8% more than in September 2012. The number of realised overnight stays is 1 290 797, which is 5.6% more than in September 2012. Overnight stays of domestic tourists represent 7.7% while the foreign tourists represent 92.3% of all overnight stays in September 2013.

Compared to September 2012, in collective accommodation establishments, number of tourist arrivals increased by 7.7%, while the number of overnight stays increased by 9.6%. In individual accommodation establishments 2) number of arrivals increased by 0.9%, while the number of overnight stays increased by 3.3%.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in September 2013, the most of them were realised by tourists from Russia (30.6%), Serbia (21.6%), Ukraine (11.7%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (4.5%), Belarus (3.6%), Poland (3.3%), France (3.0%). Tourists from other countries realised 21.7% overnight stays.
