External trade of Montenegro January-November 2013

The total external trade of Montenegro for period January-November 2013 is EUR 1 965 million, indicating the drop of 2.5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

The value of exports of goods is EUR 341 million, what is 1.9% higher compared to the same period of previous year, and imports are EUR 1 624 million, what is 3.4% less compared to the same period of previous year. The coverage of import by export is 21%, and it is higher compared to the coverage for the same period of previous year, when it was 19.9%.

Structure of exports in accordance with the SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) the most present products are Mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials– Section 3, in amount of EUR 99.8 million (consisted of: Electric current with the amount of EUR 88 million, and Petroleum, petroleum products and related materials with EUR 10.7 million).

The structure of imports in accordance with the classification SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) is presented mostly products of Section 0 – Food and live animals with EUR 335 million (consisted of: Meat and meat preparations with EUR 82 million, and Cereal and cereal products with EUR 50.3 million).

Main trading partners in exports with individual basis were: Serbia (EUR 121.4 million), Republic of Croatia (EUR 54.1 million) and Slovenia (EUR 34.4 million). Main trading partners in imports with individual basis were: Serbia (EUR 463.9 million), Greece (EUR 136.9 million), and China (EUR 132.4 million). The highest external trade trend was with CEFTA and EU countries.
