In Montenegro, in December 2013 tourists realised 17 957 arrivals which is 13.8% more than in December 2012. The number of realised overnight stays is 58 889, which is 22.1% more than in December 2012. Overnight stays of domestic tourists represent 17.9% while the foreign tourists represent 82.1% of all overnight stays in December 2013.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in December 2013, the most of them were realised by tourists from Serbia (20.6%), Russia (18.5%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (14.9%), Albania (9.3%), Kosovo (5.5%), Croatia (4.7%), Macedonia (4.1%), Italy (3.9%). Tourists from other countries realised 18.5% overnight stays.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (77.5%), in capital city (11.8%), in mountain resorts (8.1%), in other tourist resorts and other resorts.
