External trade of Montenegro January 2014

 The total external trade of Montenegro for January 2014 is EUR 105.4 million, indicating the drop of 23.7% in comparison with the same month of the previous year.

The value of exports of goods is EUR 22.6 million, what is 19.4% less compared to the same month of previous year, and imports are EUR 82.9 million, what is 24.8% less compared to the same month of previous year. The coverage of import by export is 27.2%, and it is higher compared to the coverage for the same month of previous year, when it was 25.4%.
Structure of exports in accordance with the SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) the most present products are Mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials– Section 3, in amount of EUR 8.1 million (consisted of: Electric current with the amount of EUR 7.5 million, and Petroleum, petroleum products and related materials with EUR 0.6 million).
The structure of imports in accordance with the classification SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) is presented mostly products of Section 0 – Food and live animals with EUR 18.1 million (consisted of: Meat and meat preparations with EUR 5.5 million, and Cereal and cereal products with EUR 2.7 million). Main trading partners in exports with individual basis were: Serbia (EUR 8.8 million), Republic of Croatia (EUR 5.5 million) and Slovenia (EUR 1.8 million). Main trading partners in imports with individual basis were: Serbia (EUR 24.4 million), Bosnia and Herzegovina (EUR 7.5 million), and Greece (EUR 6.5 million). The highest external trade trend was with CEFTA and EU countries.
