Total number of enrolled students in basic studies, in winter semester of academic year 2013/2014 was 23 442, which is for 5.2% more, comparing to last year's winter semester. The share of female students is 52.9%.

From total number of enrolled students, 78% was enrolled in Public Higher Education Institutions, and 22% in Private Higher Education Institutions. Number of students enrolled in Public Higher Education Institutions, remained on last year's level, while in Private Higher Education Institutions, that number is higher for 28,1%.

During the academic year 2013/2014 There were 7 938 students enrolled in the first year of studies, which is 33,9% of the total (students that are enrolled for the second time, third time or more are included in this number).
