The total number of social protection beneficiaries in Montenegro 2013 was 42 378, of which 36.6% of minors, and 63.4% of adult beneficiaries of social protection.

In 2013, the number of minor beneficiaries of social protection was 15 507 representing a decrease of

27.7% in comparison with 2012. The gender structure of minor beneficiaries of social protection is the following: there are 49.2% of female persons, and 50.8% of male persons.

The number of adult beneficiaries of social protection was 26 871, i.e. there was a decrease of 0.8% in comparison with 2012.

The highest number of minor beneficiaries of social protection in Montenegro, i.e. 39% is possessed by Centre for Social Work Podgorica (for municipalities: Podgorica, Cetinje, Danilovgrad, and Kolasin), then 19.6% possessed by Centre for Social Work Niksic (for municipalities: Niksic, Pluzine, and Savnik).

Of the total adult beneficiaries of social protection, there are 32.2% possessed by Centre for Social Work Podgorica, and 21.4% by Centre for Social Work Rozaje.
