In Montenegro, in May 2014 tourists realised 91 270 arrivals which is 2.4% more than in May 2013. The number of realised overnight stays is 403 907, which is 4.2% less than in May 2013. Overnight stays of foreign tourists represent 89.6% while the domestic tourists represent 10.4% of all overnight stays in May 2014.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in May 2014, the most of them were realised by tourists from Russia (22.7%), Serbia (14.1%), France (10.4%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (6.0%), Germany (4.2), Ukraine (3.8%), Kosovo (3.8%), Albania (3.2%). Tourists from other countries realised 31.8% overnight stays.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (93.5%), in capital city (3.0%), in other tourist resorts (1.8%), in mountain resorts and other resorts.
