The release comprises selected statistical data on the amount of waste generated from industry in 2013 (no amount of waste from temporary storage place, in contrast to previous Releases for 2012 and 2011) by Sectors, by Rulebook on waste catalogue and Statistical waste classification.

Of the total 424 147.09 tonnes of waste generated in industry, mining sector has generated 171.60 tonnes, i.e. 0.04%; manufacturing 39 089.11 tonnes. i.e 9.22%; and sector of electricity, gas and steam supply 384 886.38 tonne, i.e. 90.74%.

By sector, the relationship of non-hazardous and hazardous waste is the following: mining sector (70.77% of non-hazardous waste, and 29.23% of hazardous waste), manufacturing sector (93.61% of non-hazardous waste. 6.39% of hazardous waste.) and electricity, gas and steam supply (99.92% of non-hazardous waste. 0.08% of hazardous waste).
