In October 2014 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 1 579, ewes 11 001, pigs 577 and poultry 26 303.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 75% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
