In Montenegro, in November 2014 tourists realised 22 800 arrivals which is 21.1% more than in November 2013. The number of realised overnight stays is 82 655, which is 12.8% more than in November 2013. Overnight stays of foreign tourists represent 77.2% while the domestic tourists represent 22.8% of all overnight stays in November 2014. The great impact on such a significant increase in the number of arrivals and overnight stays of tourists has a project of the Bureau for Education Services in which a seventh grade students of all Montenegrin primary schools visited the old capital in order to learn about its history.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in November 2014, the most of them were realised by tourists from Russia (22.5%), Serbia (16.6%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (11.3%), Albania (6.4%), Ukraine (4.9%), Sweden (3.3%), Croatia (3.3%), Italy (3.1%). Tourists from other countries realised 28.6% overnight stays.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (75.3%), in capital city (14.4%), in other tourist resorts (7.8%), in mountain resorts and other resorts.
