Secondary education in school year 2013/14 obtained 8 348 pupils , III grade of vocation 713 and IV vocational grade 7 261 pupils. Compared to pervious year number of pupils who obtained III and IV grade of vocation higher by 0.4%. Pupils who completed their school regularly were 95.3%, while pupils who completed their school on part-time basis were 4.7%. Female pupils were 47.3%.

In resource centres for education of children with special educational needs in school year 2013/14 totally 44 pupils completed school and IV grade of vocation obtained 33 pupils or 75%.
General secondary education – gymnasium completed 32.4% and vocational schools 67.6% of pupils.
