In February 2015 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 1 695, ewes 629, pigs 285 and poultry 35 937.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 76% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
