In March 2015 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 1 583, ewes 890, pigs 586 and poultry 34 444.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 78% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
