Quarterly statistics of transport I quarter 2015

Transport of passengers in the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter of the previous year increased to 0.4% for rail, road transport by 4.2%, local road for 18.2%, the carriage of passengers at airports by 10.6 %, scheduled air transport for 6,1%, non scheduled air for 6.2%, while the decrease was recorded in maritime by 12.5%.

The transport of goods in the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter last year increase was recorded in the transport of goods at airports 12.7%, the total turnover of goods in ports by 25,5%, while the decrease registered in the railway for 2.0% and 13.8% for the maritime.

Number of trans-shipment tonnes in the ports in the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter of the previous year increased by 14.8% and in the manipulated tonnes by 20.8%.

Number of minutes in fixed telecommunication in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the same quarter of the previous year decreased by 13.9%, while number of minutes of mobile telecommunication increased by 5.8%.

Number of injury accidents on roads in the first quarter 2015 totaled 946 which is 14.4% less than the same quarterof of the last year. Number of casualies1in the first quarter 2015 amounted to 334 (of which 327 injuries), which is 5.9% less than the same quarter last year.

Number of registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the first quarter 2015 is 38 294, which is a increase of 2.6% in comparison with the same quarter of previous year. Number of first time registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the first quarter 2015 is 3 303, which is a increase of 10.9% in comparison with the same quater of previous year.
