In May 2015 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 1 802, ewes 2 448, pigs 634 and poultry 40 135.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 83% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
