Today in Herceg Novi began a two-day meeting of the Policy Group for statistical cooperation (PGSC) of candidate countries and potential candidates for EU membership, organized jointly by Eurostat and the Statistical Office of Montenegro. 

 

Beside the introduction of the national statistical institutes of the candidate countries and potential candidates with current topics and innovation within the European Statistical System, the goal of the meeting is to analyze the current status and challenges in the process of harmonization of Chapter 18: Statistics with EU standards.
