In August 2015 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 2 148, ewes 3 117, pigs 429 and poultry 41 124.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 87% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
