Consumer price index (CPI) November 2015

Monthly inflation measured by Consumer price index was -0.2% in November 2015, while the annual inflation was 1.4%. This was influenced mostly by decrease in prices of: fuels and lubricants; fruit; milk, cheese and eggs; accommodation services; etc. Consumer prices in period January-November 2015 compared to the same period of the previous year were higher for 1.6%.
 
Observing the main groups monthly drop of prices was noticed in the following groups: Transport (-2.9%); Restaurants and hotels (-0.6%); Food and non-alcoholic beverages (-0.1%), while a growth of prices was recorded in the following groups: Health (0.7%); Clothing and footwear (0.3%); Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (0.3%); Miscellaneous goods and services (0.3%); Recreation and culture (0.2%); Furnishing, household equipment and routine household maintenance (0.1%); Communications (0.1%). Prices of other products and services mostly remained unchanged.  
 

Positive annual inflation rates in November were observed in the following groups: Clothing and footwear (5.2%); Restaurants and hotels (4.2%); Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.2%); Food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.5%); Health (1.7%); Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (1.5%); Furnishing, household equipment and routine household maintenance (0.8%); Recreation and culture (0.5%); Miscellaneous goods and services (0.5%); Communications (0.1%), while negative annual inflation rate was observed in group Transport (-5.3%).
