In Montenegro, in July 2016 tourists realised 452 126 arrivals which is 2.2% more than in July 2015. The number of realised overnight stays is 3 144 240, which is 2.6% less than in July 2015. Of these, tourists realized 142 038 arrivals in collective accommodation1 which is 9.9% more than in July 2015, while in individual accommodation2 tourists realized 310 088 arrivals, which is 1.0% less than in July last year.

The number of realised overnight stays is 3 144 240, which is 2.6% less than in July 2015. Overnight stays of foreign tourists represent 95.6% while the domestic tourists represent 4.4% of all overnight stays in July 2016. Of these tourists realized 786 948 overnight stays in collective accommodation which is 3.2% more than in July 2015, while in individual accommodation tourists realized 2 357 292 overnight stays, which is 4.3% less compared to July last year.

In the first seven months of 2016 there was an increase of the number of tourist arrivals of 3.8% and increase in the number of overnight stays of 0.5% compared to the same period in previous year.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in July 2016, the most of them were realised by tourists from Serbia (32.1%), Russia (26.8%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (10.8%), Ukraine (3.6%), Poland (2.6%), Belarus (2.1%), Germany (1.9%), Kosovo (1.8%). Tourists from other countries realised 18.3% overnight stays.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (98.4%), in mountain resorts (0.6%), capital (0.6%) and other tourist resorts (0.4%).
